Homemade Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino Recipe

I don't know what this blog can be categorized as cause I am kind of posting everything, but I made this milkshake the other day and it tasted BETTER than my favorite- Starbucks peppermint mocha frappuccino. And you can make it any time, not just seasonally!  SO here is my recipe for a home made alternative to the 5 dollar coffee shop version.

Really simple, toss the following into the blender:
1/3 fill with crushed ice
One scoop of ice cream (I only had vanilla so I used vanilla and added chocolate syrup, you can use vanilla, coffee or chocolate)
Peppermint white Hershey kisses, OR peppermints/candy canes, crushed (peppermint bark would work great as well, just make sure to crush the pieces so they don't break your blender)
1 -2 teaspoon instant coffee (don't add too much, it can be overpowering)
You can add more chocolate if you want!

Next, add milk.  Keep adding as you need while blending it together.

Top it off if you wish with some whipped cream, a candy cane, crushed mints/chocolate, chocolate syrup...hmmmmm, creative juices are flowing and my mouth is watering! (Photos to come!)
Enjoy!
You can always replace the dairy with whatever milk you prefer.
